ABOUT MY BREAST AUGMENTATION: MY STATS: 5'10 : 135 pounds : 34A (pre-ba) Mentor, smooth, round, mod. profile, under muscle, crease, saline 375 o/f to 425cc's : Surgery date: 5/22/06: post ba: 34CI am a mom of two wonderful kids, one boy, one girl. I have always desired to have a chest! Never had anything. Not even when I had my children. I was a 34A and did not even fill in my bras. I grew up in a family with five boys and I just always felt like one of them. I was teased daily about my chest (itty bitty titty committee, band-aids for bras/swimsuit, misquote bumps). But, I was quite the tomboy, much to my mothers disgrace. When I hit my teenage years, I was extremely self-conscious and desired what my friends had. I came from a small Midwestern town and BA’s were not heard of. So, when I moved to AZ a few years back, I began to meet girls who had it done. It really perked my interest to start researching and deciding if it was something I wanted. My husband had always said that he would never want me to do it. He loved me just the way I was. But, after many years of disappointing shopping trips and tantrums before we would go out, he said he just wanted me to be happy. So, together we researched and decided to make a go for it! I chose Dr. Leber in AZ as a friend of mine had recently had hers done by him and I was able to watch her progress. I would highly recommend him! I was more anxious then nervous the few days before my surgery. My husband and a friend both came with me. It was over before I knew it. I would say the pain was not all that bad, but it did feel like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I recovered with no problems...ok, besides the constipation and bloating we all seem to feel!!!! I did develop Mondors Cord, which is nothing serious and went away in time. Now I am a beautiful 34C and could not be more happy with my decision! And, no one seems to know unless I tell them. And, that is what I hoped for. A conservative look, but enough to have fun and play up if I like. Thanks for stopping by! |

Hey Jen... just got done reading your journals. I can relate 100%. It was last year that I went through the same thing, stopped going to the gym, dropped my diet completely, and gained about 25 pounds in 3 months. S.A.D. is a serious thing. The thing that I have found that helps me is going tanning for a little UV exposure and keeping my hair highlighted. Ya know, pretty much just pretend that it's summer time Hugs to you * Angie |
